From Pagenation
This is an experimental site
It existed only as a proof-of-concept for vector map. Finding a location in Pagenation requires geographic locations be specified in decimal degrees of latitude and longitude. If you're working in an area local to you and have a GPS, you're set. Or, you may be able to get the coordinates you need from one of our georeferenced maps. Here are some useful websites with Lat/Lon references: The Getty Thesaurus of Geographic Names ® (TGN), the Art & Architecture Thesaurus ® (AAT), and the Union List of Artist Names ® (ULAN) are structured vocabularies that can be used to improve access to information about art, architecture, and material culture. Geocoding is the process of estimating a latitude and longitude for a given location. Geocoder.us is a public service providing free geocoding of addresses and intersections in the United States. Maporama Place names in many countries are available, as well as some address-level geocoding. Results are in decimal degrees.
Deep-Linking
Deep-Linking is the process of placing on a web page a hyperlink that points to a specific page or image within another website as opposed to that website´s main or home page. Such links are called deep links. For example, if you see http://sg.pagenation.com as an the internet address that is not a deep-link but rather Pagenation homepage. However if you see website: http://sg.pagenation.com/sin/Plaza%20Singapura/103.8446/1.3004.map that is a deep link. In short Deep-Linking is linking to any page on our site other than the main or home page. At Pagenation, we encourages webmaster to deep-link to pages on our site. You DO NOT need to purchase a license. We are allowed to deep-links of any part of the site for both private as well as commercial use e.g., showing of your retail outlets, branches, events, seminar etc.
